Abstract This collection houses legal documents (including land grants, powers of attorney, wills, land surveys, receipts, tax assessments, and various contracts), letters, an IOU, a stock certificate, and a notebook documenting the Henley and Bayles (also spelled Bailes and Bayless) families in Tennessee.
